A love match

ALTONA Tennis Club has been an integral part of the Hobsons Bay sporting landscape since 1928.

The club made Fresno Street in Altona, alongside the picturesque Cherry Lake, its home in 1958.

Today it has three synthetic grass and eight en-tout-cas courts.

It is an exciting year for the club, with new head coach Mark Peel on board and Jeanette Shaw as president.

The club wants to build-up its Thursday night social tennis competition, open to players of all abilities.

If you want to test you serve or forehand in a fun environment, contact Trish Aitken on 0400 954 564 or just head down to the club at 7pm on the night.
