WEST Footscray resident Marg Lind is celebrating after coaching the Hume City Falcons to the premiership in Netball Victoria's Holden Cruze Cup (championship division).
The side edged out the Boroondara Genesis 47-44 in a thrilling grand final at the State Netball Centre in Parkville last Wednesday night to grab the ultimate glory for the second time in three years.
It was a double celebration for Lind. Her daughter Maggie played a starring in the Falcons' under-19 premiership earlier in the night.
The goal attack scored 17 goals from 26 attempts in the 49-46 win over the Genesis.
The young gun also won the competition's coveted most valuable player award.
