TAC Cup: Western Jets' triple treat

01 Feb, 2012 12:00 AM
IT'S less than two months until the start of the 21st anniversary TAC Cup season.

The Western Jets will feature on a special triple-header opening day in a Metro Round clash with Sandringham Dragons at Visy Park in Carlton on March 25.

The curtain-raising event will see three matches back-to-back from 9.45am at the former AFL venue.

The Jets will make a long-awaited return to Burbank Oval in Williamstown for the first time since its redevelopment on June 16 when they play host to the Northern Knights.

The Jets are undertaking an intensive summer training program in readiness for the new campaign and are scheduled to play an intra-club game at Whitten Oval on Tuesday from 5.30pm.
