VICTORIA University students - including Alex McHardy, pictured - got their hands dirty for National Tree Day last week. The group planted more than 200 native trees in Cruickshank Park, Yarraville, on Thursday for Australia's largest community planting event. The activity was part of a VU work education course for people with learning difficulties.
