HOBSONS Bay Council, in partnership with the South Kingsville Community Centre and Spotswood Community House, held a function last Thursday to honour volunteers as part of National Volunteers Week.
Held at the Altona North Senior Citizens Centre, the event recognised the tireless efforts of Hobsons Bay's volunteers, and included a presentation by the mayor, Cr Peter Hemphill.
Altona North Senior Citizens Club members who received recognition for their efforts as volunteers included Joyce and Gregory Sacco, Lino Portelli and club president Lorraine Bedella.
