POLICE raids across Melbourne, including a four-and-a-half-hour siege in Maribyrnong, have netted quantities of drugs, guns and cash.
As reported yesterday by maribyrnongweekly.com.au, Four men were arrested yesterday, including two who had barricaded themselves in a unit in Cumberland Drive, Maribyrnong.
The pair, both in their 20s, were arrested after lengthy negotiations, and as police raided five properties across Melbourne in connection with a drugs investigation.
The siege began just after 6am when police attempted to arrest two men. They refused to come out, prompting police to surround the unit. They were arrested about 10.30am.
