Laverton children found

29 Jul, 2010 05:09 PM
THREE Laverton children missing for nearly a day have been found safe and well.

The children were found at Altona beach about 7.30pm last night after police received information from a member of the public.

Fears were earlier held for Rashad Omaga, 13, and his sisters, Nerressah, 11, and Narrika, 10, were last seen about 10pm on Wednesday when they went to bed at their Jennings Street home.

At 7am yesterday the children were found to be missing - each having changed out of their pyjamas before leaving the house.

The children did not attend school and police were unable to find them until alerting media to the case.
