Edgewater hearing

24 Jun, 2009 05:00 AM
THE Edgewater hearing at the Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal continues.

Yesterday, members of Residents Against Inappropriate Development and other objectors presented their submissions opposing the Western Bulldogs' new social venue planned for Edgewater Boulevard. The hearing, which began on June 10, will decide on two applications: a gaming licence for 70 electronic gaming machines and a planning permit for Club Edgewater that includes the gaming machines, a restaurant and hotel.

The Bulldogs were expected to begin presenting their side of the case today.
