Description:
The Bayside Festival is one of the most successful community based festivals in Victoria and enjoys excellent local participation. In 2010, the Festival will take place from Friday 19th March until Sunday 21st March.
The Festival comprises elements such as the Street parade and fireworks. The Street Parade is the main attraction that brings over 50 floats stretching up Pier St and with over 2,000 people in the Parade and 6000 –8000 spectators lining the road. It’s the only Street Parade in Victoria (if not Australia) that STOPS twice for the train to pass.
